The slogan by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah since 1972, has now become a reality. His Highness is a member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, which governs the affairs of the Federation. During his rule, Sharjah has experienced rapid growth in various fields; the most important development being in the field of human resources. The city's phenomenal transformation into a modern and advanced society is the fruit of the strenuous and consistent efforts of its Ruler to develop this emirate in a scientific and a comprehensive way.
The city - the 3rd largest of the Emirates, encompasses some of the finest scenery of the country. Its geographical layout - with both an East and a West Coast, makes it easily accessible for trade and commerce.
